In a supportive environment that welcomes everyone, you will learn safe, gentle postures and movements specifically adapted to pregnancy that will leave you more confident and physically stronger as you move through each stage of pregnancy.
You will be guided by your qualified pregnancy yoga teacher, Katy, to build strength making you feel active during this vital and magical time.
Regularly practicing pregnancy yoga will ultimately have a positive effect, preparing you both physically and mentally for birth.
At Body to Baby Pregnancy Yoga classes we focus on toning, stretching and relieving tension to support your beautiful pregnant body as your baby grows, as well as supporting strength for an active birth.
The power of breathing in yoga helps you to connect with your body and your baby. You can use the breathing techniques that you learn in class to support a calmer pregnancy and birthing experience.
We spend 45 minutes enjoying our beautiful yoga practice followed by 15 minutes of wonderful relaxations at the end of class, which leaves you totally relaxed and calm.
Each week we focus on different aspects to support your pregnancy and birth:
· womb and pelvic floor
· optimal foetal positioning
· strengthening and energising
· posture and flexibility
Pregnancy yoga classes with Body to Baby are suitable for pregnant women from 14 weeks up until birth and you don’t have to of had any previous yoga experience. These pregnancy yoga classes work in perfect harmony with Body to Baby’s Hypnobirthing antenatal courses and our Pregnancy relaxation classes.
When & Where…
The pregnancy yoga classes are every Friday, 5:30-6:30pm and held at The Yoga Loft in Burbage; it's a beautiful space in which to practice and meet other expectant mummies and start building your community of support.
